SUNDAY!! That’s right a new post is up, but not just any ol’ post but a Bullet Journaling one [*angels singing and confetti flying in the air*]. It has shown that these types of posts are some of you guys faves, which I totally get because who doesn’t want inspiration right? So, my weekly spreads still look very similar to the ones I did in May (you can check that out here). However, I feel like there has been some sort of slight change… Anyway, if you’re keen on getting some inspo or just nosy around then keep on scrolling!

When I do these weekly spreads I always use different sizes of pens – like a 0.1 0.3 0.5 & 0.8. I know it seems pretty nerdy in a way, but it’s just that it gives your spread some variation. Like it looks really cool when you’re writing all bold at one spot and then much smaller at another spot. Another thing you can do is to write in different types of typing. You could do cursive at one point, bold at another and regular handwriting as a third – I mean you’re the Picasso here, so it’s all up to you. I will say one thing though. I’ve found it really nice to have the days of the week written more boldly, mainly because they then become more like headers – it’s just a tip!

A common ‘theme’ in my spreads are the tracking. If you don’t know much about bullet journaling then a lot of people do these tracking tables. You can track everything from your intake of water to how many steps you’ve walked that day (which I BTW am planing on doing for my next couple of weekly spreads) A few basic ones which I’d recommend you track would be; water, sleep, money, reading and work out. Those ones are pretty nice to track, however since two lives aren’t similar then you’d might want to add yoga, meditation, running, showers, homework, biting nails or alcohol – only you know which habits to improve and ditch.

Quotes are genius! I mean not only do they inspire and motivate you. But, they’re also great to use for empty spaces. If I’ve got a bit of space left on a side that’s too big just to leave, I always write a littl’ quote. The quotes on the picture above and below are just ‘stunning’ I love them to pieces. If you wonder where I found them then Pinterest is the answer. I’ve actually made a folder just with quotes, which you’re more than welcome to check out right here!

Just like the quotes, then pictures are amazing to cover up areas. Not only do they master the job of filling out spaces, they also instantly make a spread look gorgeous. So if you’re not really into doodling and so, just whack a picture on and BAM it will look stunning. Again, Pinterest is like an ocean of everything GOALS, so naturally it’s become my Nº1 source for pictures. Just do ya’self a favour and go n’ check it out! (haha)

If there’s one thing that really characterize my weekly spreads then it has to be the littl’ doodles and drawings I do. To me bullet journaling is all about a) feeling a lot more organized b) having some therapeutic time. To me drawing is the most relaxing thing to do. A few of the drawings I’ve done are a recreation of some I’ve found on (do I even have to say where… haha) However most of them are ideas that happens to just pop into my head every now and then – Which not gonna lie, I’m rather pleased about.
SO, that’s a wrap. I hope you’ve found these pics and my words in somewhat motivating or inspiring. I absolutely LOVE sharing my bullet journal work with you guys. So if you want me to do a post of July then please let me know in the comments. Feel free to give this post a like and comment:
Why do or don’t you bullet journal? How would you describe you style of bullet journaling? & where do you find inspiration?
