Hello everyone! It’s been a while hasn’t it? I’ve basically started a new job which has been very exciting but also rather time consuming. I hope you’re all doing well and that you’re enjoying this cozy season – I for sure am. Today’s post is all about my little trip to Copenhagen, which my boyfriend and i booked at the end of September. Even though an entire month has passed since we went, I still though some of you might be interested in seeing a few snippets from our trip.

We honestly had such a lovely time and even though we didn’t travel far, as both of us live in Denmark, it still felt like a true city break. We stayed at Villa Copenhagen, which is such a lovely hotel. The room was so aesthetic and cozy, the staff incredibly helpful and the location absolutely ideal. We could not have wished for a better place to stay. Whenever we’ll revisit Copenhagen, we will for sure stay there again.

We loved pretty much everything about the hotel, but we especially loved the lobby area so so much. We had drinks here and played cards, which was so “hyggeligt” (the dane has found herself searching for a fitting word, but alas, the english language is lacking a word like “hygge”). We also loved the hotel roof top swimming pool. Yup, this lovely old building also has a roof top pool (!!!). Honestly such a cool and unexpected feature. We would both love to revisit in summer.

If you’re ever visiting Copenhagen and want to go somewhere filled with history, art, aesthetics, botany and architecture you have to visit Carlsberg Glyptotek (and no it hasn’t got anything to do with beer, sadly ;-)). It is almost impossible to describe how gorgeous this building is. It’s one of those things you’ve just got to experience with your own eyes.

During our stay we had so much delicious food. However, I somehow (and almost for the first time ever) didn’t manage to take one semi decent photo of our food. I only managed to get an alright photo of some amazing pasta, but that was really only a grab and go lunch. It was nevertheless very tasty. Just looking at the picture makes my mouth water (lol).

Lastly, I have an outfit picture. There’s not much to say about it actually, only that we had a lovely dinner after this photo was taken and that my boyfriend, Casper, and I accidentally matched. He was also wearing a white shirt, black trousers and blue shoes – and yes we did get some stares and laughs when we walked to and from dinner, if you were wondering.

That was all I had for you this time. I hope you enjoyed reading this post and looking at the photos. We honestly had such a lovely time, and I cannot wait to revisit Copenhagen. Make sure to give this post a like and let me know in the comments, what you’ve been up to lately.

Lots of love

Karen xx
