Oh Happy Sunday Lovelies! Today, I’m back on it with another brand new blog post for you. And yes, not just any ol’ blog post, but a post with the ever so amazing Ann-Kathrin aka Glücksgeist. Her and I decided to share what’s in our school bags. With me going to high school and Ann-Katrin at UNI, we thought the idea was just perfect! Another exciting this about this post, is that it’s now exactly 2 years since I started this blog. 2 years! Can you believe that?! I just wanted to say: “Thank you so much” to every one of you tuning in each Sunday to read my posts. It means the absolute world to me. So that is what you’ve got on today’s program. Let’s get to it!
My actual School “Bag”
I actually don’t have an actual school backpack – But, a tote bag. I know a doctor would probably tell me off, and say that I’m damaging my back. However, it literally takes me 6 min. & 27 sec (yes I timed myself…) to get to school. So, I can’t imagine a lot of damage is being done. Anyway, I bought this tote bag in H&M when I was in London. However, I can’t seem to find a link for it anywhere, but there really are a heck load of amazing ones out there.
Computer & Sleeve
At every single high school in Denmark – you have to bring your own computer every single day. Otherwise, you won’t be able to keep up with any of the classes. So, naturally I’m bring my laptop every day. To protect my every so lovely MacBook, I’ve got this absolutely gorgeous sleeve or cover (what ever you prefer) I got this for my 16th birthday and I’m simply in love with it. It’s this leopard print sleeve by the Danish brand “Ganni“, which does the most amazing clothing items and accessories. You have to check out their stuff!
The Stationery Stuff
I LOVE STATIONERY! Like a girl can’t have too many notebooks, masking tape, folders, pens, pencils, cute stickers (the list goes on…) In my bag I try not to have too many supplies. The reason is simply that it takes up too much room and that it would weigh too much (and yes Doctor, then I would get back damages) I stick to having just one folder, a notebook and my pencil case. And so far that works just perfect! The folder is for all the loose papers I get handed from my teachers. The notebook is for notes (obviously) I know a lot of people prefer digital notes, however I’ve just experienced that the information is easier remembered. In my pencil case I have pens, pencils, an eraser & highlighters – all very standard, but all very necessary.
All The Bits & Bobs
A Water Bottle | I honestly don’t think I would survive a school day without a single drop of what. It’s not that I drink tons of water – but I definitely drink 1 liter while I’m in school. Water is SO important in more or less any context. But especially while learning. If you’re dehydrated it will give you headaches & make you feel unconcentrated. So stay hydrated kids!
POLOS & Chewing gum | After lunch we all need a little freshener for our mouths. So I always carry some sort of mint refresher around with me. Lately I’ve had an obsession with POLOS. Not exactly sure why though… The point: be sure to carry mint refreshing stuff with you.
Beauty Bits | I don’t have too many beauty products in my school bag (or do I…?) Anyway, the items which you will ALWAYS be able to find in my bag are:
- Hand Creme | I hate having dry hands, and especially at this time of the year
- Lip Balm | & no, I don’t enjoy having chapped dry lips either, so I always carry around lip balm
- Hair Ties | It’s just always handy to have a hair tie on you – trust me
- Some Sort Of Lip Product With Colour | To spice your day and boost your confidence a bit
- Deodorant | Just in case
- A Littl’ Perfume | It’s always nice with a retouch of freshness.
That’s a wrap! I hope you guys enjoyed this post, if so make please like it and let me know in the comments:
What do you carry in your school bag? Which of these items will you include in your school bag? Why do you follow my blog (I’m just curious ♡)
Please promise me and yourself to check out Ann-Katrin’s blog and post as well. She’s such an amazing, creative & inspiring girl. When we reached out to each other about collabing, we were both kind of fangirling (ha ha). I also just want to say “Thank you so much”, again. It honestly blows my mind that I’ve been doing this for two years now, and that I have 400 people wanting to read about my life & ideas! You’re all very much appreciated. Until next Sunday; I hope you’ll have a wonderful week ♡
