Heyyy Lovelies – It’s finally SUNDAY! So, like every Sunday I’m ready and prepared with a new blog post for ya’. It has been a month since I did my last ‘If We Were Having Coffee’ post, and I feel like I have a few things that I’d like to share with you. So if you’re keen on hearing (I mean reading) about that, then grab a coffee (for the occasion right) and keep on scrolling.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you about how my finals went. It still seems SO surreal that I’ve come out alive with pure A+s / As (how do you write A in plural…?) Like I’ve been working my absolute butt of, not to get an A+ but just to have a good experience and feel like I’ve done good. I can’t show up to an exam feeling unprepared, like that’s just not how things work inside my head.
If we were having coffee, I’d ask you what you’re up to this summer. Are you staying at home? Are you visiting someone you havn’t seen in ages? Or are you traveling the world? Actually, feel free to let me know in the comments, I’d love to know. If you’re interested in what I’m up to then I’m going to Amsterdam for a littl’ city break, I’m also visiting my grannies with my beloved cousin (which I’m beyond excited for) and then I’ll probably have an amazing time with my friends at home – you know picnics, movie nights (because it’s Denmark it means rain a good 50% of the summer) and beach fun (for the other 50% when the weather is lovely)
If we were having coffee, I would ask you what you’re reading at the moment. Yes, I am aware that not everyone’s a bookworm, but I guess you’ve at least read one book in your life where you’ve felt entertained and hooked. I’m currently on my 9th book of the year, which I think is actually quiet alright. The book I’m reading atm is Anne Frank’s Diary. I mean I can’t go to Holland and visit her house without having read her diary right? So far I’m really liking it. It’s so surreal that it’s the diary of a real girl instead of fiction. I think that’s also what’s making it even more unique, and I can only imagine what my reaction’s gonna be when we actually visit the museum.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you about having to go to ‘Upper Secondary School’ after summer term (please don’t question the Danish school system, it’s too complicated). If you’ve read my last ‘If We Were Having Coffee’ post, then you’ll have read that I was rather nervous about it. You know; new teachers, new friends, new building, new environment, basically new everything. However, I’m actually feeling really exited about it, which in May I’d think you’d be joking if you told me I’ll feel like this within the next month. But I am, I’m so ready for a new start with a new fresh energy. And if you read Sunday’s post two weeks ago you will know that I love to learn, and that’s also one of the things I’m so exited for (yes, call me insane but I love to learn)
If we were having coffee, I would love to chat to you about dreaming and futures. ATM I’m really dreaming about having a podcast. However, I’m not gonna tell you all about it in this post, because who know maybe I will someday and then I’m not going to spoil the theme… Only time will show if you’ll ever get to know (sorry for being mysterious haha) But what are you dreaming about? And it doesn’t have to be realistic answers (I mean if we’re talking aliens and unicorns then maybe that’s the limit haha) But you hopefully get my point. What I’m trying to say is that; it doesn’t have to be realistic from were you’re at right now.
So, that’s a wrap lovelies. I hope you’ve enjoyed this post, and sorry for making you hungry with that brunch pic. I can guarantee you that it was probably the best brunch I’ve ever had. Anyway, that’s beside the point. If you enjoyed this post, then please give it a like to let me know. Feel free to answer some of the subjects I’d chat to you about, because I’d love to read your answers. If you don’t want to miss any of Sunday’s posts then please follow my blog or subscribe my e-mail. And until next Sunday, have a wonderful week!
