How is it going you lovely peps. Today it’s Sunday which means it’s time for a new blog post. If you’ve had an eye out in the blog community, you will know that this specific blog post has been everywhere. I’m not usually the type of person that likes to do the things that everyone else does, unless it’s a really good idea which in this case it is. Oh, and because I don’t really enjoy small talks about stuff like: “Oh, have you seen the weather today” or “How is your coffee?” We will hopefully have a few chats a little deeper then that. Without a further a due – grab a coffee and let’s get to it!
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that my anxiety is really improving at the moment. Like I’ve not felt anxious in that way in a long time (plz do not jinx this Karen) Since I suppose you havn’t read any of my blog posts about anxiety, I would also explain to you how my anxiety is, how I feel trapped by it and how I’ve found it hard to find proper friends with it.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you about my BIG ol’ family and its situation. That I live with my mum and only visit my dad every now and then. And how my mum’s ex-boyfriend is like a dad to me (I know it may sound weird, but I’ve known him since I was a one year old baby, and has always considered him like a true father) I would then tell you that when it’s my birthday all the dads are there – by biological father, my mum’s ex (btw my mum and him are like really close friends, luckily) and then my mum’s new boyfriend which I guess is considered my stepdad. And they all get on so well, which is literally a miracle.
If we were having coffee, I would ask you what you’re dreaming about. And it doesn’t have to be realistic from where you’re at right now, only your imagination is the limit (as cheesy as it sounds, as true it is) There’s really nothing that inspires me more than to hear what people are dreaming about. Also I would probably tell you what I’m dreaming about while we’re at the subject.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that when the summer break comes to an end, I’ll be starting a whole new chapter of my life. And that my friend is high school, but ‘the danish version’. It’s a school which you attend when you’re between 15/16 and graduate when you’re 18/19. Never mind the danish school system, my point is that I’m really nervous about it, like I’ve been to the same school for 10 years (again, the danish school system – google it haha) I’ve been around the same people for just as long, and now we’re all going to split up. It does feel weird and scary to me, but I’m sure I’ll be more then fine after a couple a weeks.
If we were having coffee, I would ask you how you are at the moment. And I don’t want a typical: “I’m fine thanks, you?”. No, that’s now how we’ll get to know each other. If something’s difficult for you, I’ll try my best to help you out.
If we were having coffee, I’d love to talk about inspiring people. Who inspires you? Then I would probably answer with people like my mum, my friends, bloggers and people who stand up for their rights and opinions (however, not the ones who’s intention is to halm people)
If we were having coffee, I would ask you what you like to do in your spare time. Do you like singing, dancing, drawing, cooking, baking, walking, running, yogaing (it’s not a word, but for today it’ll do) or maybe talking – you tell me.
That’s it for today guys, I hope you’ve enjoyed your cup of coffee with me. If so then please make sure to give this post a like, and comment your thoughts down below. I pose every single Sunday, so if you don’t want to miss any then feel free to follow my blog. Until next Sunday, I hope you’ll have a great week – in fact I know you will!
Karen W. xx
