Sometimes It’s Just Too Much

I presume all people can feel like this sometimes, some people even more than others. However, for this Sunday I actually had another post in mind, but things changed a bit, and I wanted to write about this instead. This Friday I woke up and felt like today was just not the day – Although that’s what most of us feel like every morning, right? But I truly felt like today was really just NOT the day. So I skipped School…. A feeling I’m not quit sure about. I know some people have “illness days” quit regular, but for some reason I have to be quit ill before I’ll skip school.

I think we live in a world were everything have to be done to perfection and delivered as fast as possible, because for some reason everything and everyone is in a rush. Now, I can only speak for myself, so these are my opinions and experiences. However I would love to hear about your experiences and opinions.

I’m the sort of person that takes school very serious, not that I can’t accept a not so good grade or anything. But I find it difficult to deliver an appointment that I’m not a 100% sure about. And that might sound like a good thing, and in many cases I thing it is, but sometimes it’s just too much… I quit frequently put too much pressure on myself. Like I’m a human being for goodness sake, not a multitasking robot.

Now, I’m not saying that you should skip school all the time. But just try, one day when you’re feeling like today is just really NOT THE DAY. Take the day off, and do things for you. Not someone else who’s expecting your attention. Below the next picture I’ve listed a few things, that I did this Friday to clear my head and recharge. Because you can’t keep on delivering good work, if you mind is cluttered and you feel really stressed. Like that’s never going to end good 1. for your own health 2. for your appointment.

  1. Go for a walk | This really helped me clearing my mind. No matter if you’re feeling stressed or not, a walk is good for you no matter what. And especially a walk where there isn’t too much noice around you. However I live in a quit a big city, so I found this part a little challenging. So to “remove” the noice, I listened to music. But not any pumped up music, more like calm and chilled numbers – So highly recommend.
  2. Watch a movie or YouTube | I literally spent like five and a half hour off that day watching Harry Potter, YouTube and The Great British Bakeoff. And I’m not even sorry about it. It was seriously just what I needed, so again recommendedProcessed with VSCO with m5 preset
  3. Do something that does not require WiFi | Although I was watching those programs for a blimmin century, I did also play piano for over an hour. I’m not saying that that’s going to help you feeling less stressed, because if you don’t play piano, you’ll probably just get frustrated about your skill, sorry… But there are SOOO many other things you can do, which do not require WiFi. Like reading, cooking, working out, drawing, baking (but again value your skill…..), dancing or musicing (definitely not a word, but what ever)
  4. Have some pamper time | I like to do these pamper sessions quit frequently. But especially for these very low energi times. Like run yourself a bath, light some candles and put on a facemask. If you do so, there’s no possibility of being stressed. If you don’t have a bath, the facemask part can still be helpfull.

Thank you very much for reading this rather short post. Whether you’re stressed or not, I hope you found it helpfull in some way. I’m still really enjoying posting every Sunday, even though it means me being a tiny more busy, but I don’t regret it in any way. If you’re enjoying posts every Sunday as well, then please let me know. Or if you enjoy reading my blog/this post, let me know about that as well.
